Hello!
A few days ago I just bought my HP Victus 16 Gaming Notebook.
I am really satisfied with the performance and everything else, except the battery.
When I am playing video games and the power adapter is pluged in, it charges normally and I have no problems. But when I am just surfing or watching videos on battery, it discharges really quick. I would say i loose 1 % battery in 1 minute.
I have the display brightness on 50 %, and the power mode is "balanced".
I tried to test the battery in HP Support Assistant and the BIOS, it always says "PASSED".
Thank you all for the help!

How much time is there between fully charged and when the low battery becomes an issue.
If you get about 3-3.5 hours use out of a gaming notebook on battery that is about the industry standard.

Was that 1.5-2 hours of use or until you got the battery low warning at the point where it is set?

I would find that to be an issue if I had Windows power options set at least to balanced.
Perhaps you shold check to see that some unknown, or perhaps malicious, propcess is doing something behind your back.
Your notebook could be mining Bitcoin on someone else's behalf and using max processing cycles.
Check what is running on your notebok with Microsoft's Process Explorer utility.
