Hey there, I have an HP Victus 16-s0008np, and I've been using a standard docking station, without power delivery. I recently also got a different laptop for my job, a Dell Latitude 5440
Now I'd like to get an upgrade for a new docking station, that allows faster 2K, 60Hz video transmission, and that is able to power the laptop as well.
I saw different reports of the ability of the Victus 16 to charge via USB-C, but even the ones that report it as being possible say that the victus has a maximum power delivery via USB-C (I think it was only 90W?). Since the Victus has a 230W power brick, this power would not be enough for more demanding tasks.
So, I found a possible alternative in the Thunderbolt G4 dock 280W (spec sheet can be found here. Im interested in the 4J0G4AA model, which features a combo cable ( USB-C cable to connect to host system + 4.5mm power barrel). From my understanding, this would allow to deliver enough power to fully charge the Victus 16 using the power barrel, as well as deliver enough power to the dell latitude when I switch to that laptop to work.
Can you please confirm if these 2 products are compatible?

If you use that dock with the combo cable it will work.

Thank you for the quick response!
And what about the Dell Latitude 5440 compatibility? In the spec sheet they state compatibility with several Dell models, but not that one specifically. Can I assume they will be compatible as well?
Thank you!
