Hi,
I have an HP Victus 16 s-0047NT model with a KXG80ZNV1T02 KIOXIA 1 TB m2 ssd. As far as I can tell, this model does not have a second ssd slot. I would like to upgrade/replace the KIOXIA ssd storage unit with a Samsung 980 heatsink Pro 2 tb m2 ssd. Can you provide information about its compatibility? I will be buying the Samsung ssd with a heatsink and in the 2280 form factor.
Thank you,

Hi:
You will have to buy the 980 Pro without a heatsink because if you look at chapter 5, pages 32 & 33 of the service manual, the drive is held within a thermal enclosure already.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
If you buy one with a heat sink, it won't fit inside the thermal enclosure.
The notebook does not have two M.2 NVMe slots as shown on page 32 of the manual.
You can refer to this discussion for more details in that.
