So I have an HP Victus 15-fa0031dx and I need to replace it's battery since the old one is busted. It's currently housing a 52wHr battery, SD03XL. Now the obvious choice would be to replace it with the same model, but I was wondering if could use the SD06XL model instead, a 70wHr battery. Both batteries are the exact same, size and output wise, only difference is the capacity size. I've checked online and both batteries are inter replaceable for HP Omen models, no mention of HP victus for some reason. Now, my question is, can i go forward with this upgrade? Will my laptop work fine with the upgraded battery, or will it not support it?

I don't believe that would be a good idea if you look at chapter 3, page 19 of the service manual:
Battery
IMPORTANT: To avoid damage to the system board, be sure to use the correct battery for the graphics used in the computer.
4 cell, 70 Whr, for use in models with GeForce RTX 3050 or 3050 Ti graphics M39179-005
3 cell, 52.5 Whr, for use in models with GeForce GTX 1650 graphics L84394-005

Yes, I've looked at the service manual. The battery mentioned for the 3050 variant is the 4 cell 70wHr battery, WK04XL, replacement part no. M39179-005. This is a different battery with a larger physical size, a different pin connector and a different output voltage. The battery I'm asking about is the SD06XL, which has the same physical size, same pin connector and output voltage, only a larger 70wHr capacity. The replacement part no. L84394-005, the one listed for the 1650 variant, can be found on both the SD03XL (the battery currently in my laptop) and the SD06XL from the battery product descriptions I've found online.

I can only advise you as to what is in the manual.
If you think it is just a matter of having a longer lasting between charges 4-Cell battery over the stock 3-cell battery, then I don't see a problem with that.
If it is a matter of you can't use a 4-Cell battery in a notebook that came with a 3-Cell battery because of the different graphics adapters, then that is another story, and no one would know the answer to that.
