HP Victus Hinge issue causing back cover of screen to pop out

The back cover is buldging out due to a hinge issue on the back right side of the laptop. This has also caused the fan underneath the hinge, the GPU fan to become very loud when the laptop runs (even on eco/quiet mode). I have scoured through the forums page and it seems to be a very common problem with all victus laptops (and some other HP 15" 17" laptops). This is ridiculous that it is a common problem and there are no recall efforts or anything. All the posts I have come across has the support agent send a private message link so I wanted to see if I could get any sort of assistance on this fix. I don't expect HP to ask me to pay for the fix
