Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V8Z4AV)

My HP Victus laptop's hinge is broken on both side, and the screen cover is poking out. The hinge area is tearing the plastic lid, splitting it into two different sections. I’ve attached photos of the problem below. More concerningly, this issue arose just a few months after my device went out of warranty.

After researching, I discovered that this is a common problem with other units of the Victus and Envy series laptops. I upgraded from an older HP laptop to the Victus series because I trusted the brand, so I’m deeply disappointed that such a serious issue has escaped the attention of your quality control. Furthermore, it's frustrating that this issue surfaced right after my warranty expired.

I hope my concerns are heard and addressed appropriately. I’ve done my part in reporting an inherent flaw in the design of the laptop, which is causing the hinge area to tear the plastic lid, splitting it into two sections. I kindly request a resolution—whether it's a repair or replacement of the faulty component. Since this issue stems from a design flaw, I don’t believe HP should charge me for the repair.

More importantly, if this is left unaddressed, the display will eventually break due to the hinge/lid casing problem, and I’ll be forced to bear the cost of a major repair or replacement.
