Daughter's laptop for school. Came home and said that the "ON/OFF button doesn't move" due to her accidently dropping it. As it's not covered under warranty. It is new - this is the 2nd week of school that she has used it.

We are wondering is there any way that this can be repaired/fixed by us? Without doing any damage. Any help would be appreciated.......

PS Not sure if I have put this on the correct board or not. My apologies if it isn't.

Sorry to hear that your laptop power button is having an issue. In case the button is stuck inside then you may try to use a paper to gently try to bring it back to its original position. If that does not work then please reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options for your laptop.

This is not a real simple repair but we can get you videos and we can certainly help you get the parts, which would not be expensive.
