HP ZBOOK 15 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello I recently bought a HP ZBOOK 15 g2 i7 48810MQ; but without charger. 2 friends propose me

- The first with these features: 19.5v 11.8 AMPER 230W

- the others offer me another 19V 7.3 A 150W

I would like to know which one to choose for my New ZBOOK 15 G2

Excellent day

I don't know 230W adapter but machine supports

  • 200-W HP Smart adapter (PFC, 3-wire, 4.5-mm) part # 693708-001
  • 150-W HP Smart adapter (PFC, 3-wire, 4.5-mm) part # 693707-001

Normally 200W AC Adapter is more heavier than the 150W and it will charge battery faster. I don't know options of your computer (HP ZBOOK 15 G2 can have dozens of different options for each model/product or machine) therefore 200W would be the one you need. The 150W is ok too.

Please turn up-size-down the chargers to get the right part # (even with the 150W).

Regards.

I say again: I don't know the 230W AC adapter, what is its part # ? Given the 150W charger had SAME part # as shown on my previous post. I should use 150W charger.

You need the following parts

  • 200-W HP Smart adapter (PFC, 3-wire, 4.5-mm)  part # 693708-001
  • 150-W HP Smart adapter (PFC, 3-wire, 4.5-mm) part # 693707-001

Please turn your charger up-side-down to see its part #
