Hi there!
This Laptop in my company has some issues with the battery, it told me that the "Sicherung ist durchgebrannt", the fuse has blown, but I don't know, whether this fuse is on the battery or on the mainboard or else. I ran some tests and here are the results:
Modell: HP ZBook 15 G5

The code MCQDVW-94DC1J-MFPW3G-C0FU03 tells me to eventually change the battery, but the other code MCQDVW-99NC1J-MFPW3G-08DH03 is rather uninformative, so I am not sure where the problem really is situated.
My question: does a change of battery solve my problems or is the Laptop garbage?
Thanks for any suggestions 🙂
Philipp

Hi and thank you for your answer.
Since I posted my question here, I installed windows 11 on the laptop and made some minor changes in the BIOS and when I tried to run some more tests concerning the error, I could not find any error! I tested the RAM for a few hours, I tested the battery, no error to be found. The solution I stumbled upon:
https://support.hp.com/at-de/document/c06256846
and
https://www.notebook-doktor.de/2023/03/fehler-bei-hp-akkus-unkorrekte-akkufehlermeldungen
"Maximize my battery health" in the BIOS (Power Management Options - Battery Health Manager) causes this (false?) error (Blown Fuse).
I now use "Let HP manage my battery charging" and everything is fine.
Case closed.
Greetings,
Philipp

This is the HP English language Global forum.
I suggest running the Windows Battery report to see the actual condition of the battery.
In the knowledge base article that I authored, I explained how to invoke and use the battery report to make an informed decision on the battery. See the hyperlink below.
Changing the battery should resolve the battery problem.
The other issue that the test reports is related to memory.
Run the memory test to see if it is successful.

If your laptop is indeed from the 2018-2019 time frame and the battery is original, what you have stumbled upon is only a temporary fix that will come back to bother you .
The only long term fix will be replacement of the battery.
