Which is the right slot occupation for 2 SO-DIMMs  (16Gig if it matters)

In which slot combination it will work in dual channel?

When i bought the computer, ram modules was on slot 1 and 2.  I had some issue before two weeks  with beep trouble code for system memory. Then i go to local HP service center and they replace the motherboard. Now the modules are at slot 2 and 4. In AIDA64 there is a big difference in read and write speeds.

There are only two slots in a laptop system board for soDIMM modules.

The requirement for dual channel is that both modules must be identical in all respects and compatible with the laptop system board/BIOS.

Ok. That is the first time I have seen that soDimm configuration in a laptop pc.

Use dimm1 and dimm3 slots for dual channel.
