HP ZBook Studio x360 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just wondering if the HP ZBook Studio x360 G5's motherboard can address 3 hard drives?

HP Tech Support states that it appears that 3 can be used....

However, I have to change the battery to a 4 cell and install the 2.5" hard drive components first - this laptop is very difficult to open and I prefer to do this in one shot with proper guidance in advance.

I want to install 2 x NVME M.2 Samsung drives - a 1 TB 970 Pro and a 2 TB 97O Evo + use my old Samsung 840 4 TB drive in the 2.5" bay.

Anyone done this yet - will it work?

Thanks!

Please carefully read the following manual first

Information from pp 2-3 tells you this sould work.

Regards.

Well, in the manual, it states that there are *2 Primary* HDs - the primary NVME M.2 PCIe and the 2.5" SATA...I'll install the 2.5" parts and see if all 3 work together...
