Summary of the issue:
1. I have a docking station HP USB-C G5 Essential Dock
2. I have two monitors, model HP ZR22w
3. When the monitors are plugged in to the docking station via DisplayPort cables, they do not display the image, the signal from the source (docking station plugged into a laptop) is not recognized, the error message on the monitors says: "Input Signal Out of Range - Change Settings to 1920 x 1080 - 60Hz".
However, the monitors are visible in the system, meaning when I go to Display Settings in Windows 11, I can see the monitors on the list of displays along with my laptop screen. The settings for the monitors in the Display Settings are set to the ones specified in the error message, that is Video Resolution 1920 x 1080 & Refresh Rate 60Hz.
4.When the monitors are plugged in directly to the laptop via a DIsplayPort-to-USB-C adapter, they work normally
5.Therefore the problem seems to be the input source signal that is being sent by the docking station to the monitors
