Hello,

 

I have a HP Zbook 17.3 -- I7-- 64GB ram, when i use virtual machine with the power adapter everything is fine, when i unplug it, the VM becomes verry slow.

any solutions??

Go into settings -> power options and make a choice of performance so the number of cores and power don't affect performance on battery  power as much.

where i can find this option? do i need to put this option on the host or in the virtual machine ??

i only have this options in the power option

Click on performance settings and change the power option selected from balanced to performance.

 

That should help with the VM while on battery power, but it does reduce the amount of laptop battery time you will get on battery alone.
