Example: Pavilion X360

On tweeter HP announced recalling of Note Book batteries of some models. My HP Pavilion X360 14 cd0053tx is also one of them. My notebook battery dead within a year but issue raised with HP service post one year, though I am very careful with laptop, sparely used (half an hour a day) no accident. This is my 1st HP laptop (was Mac user so far). Anyone else suffered with this? What has been done for free replacement of battery based on HPs announcement?

Yes! I have the same problem. The battery doesn't last past 40 -50% charge and shuts down without any warning!!!!
and this is the second time it's happening after replacing it just a year ago. Had the same problem both times!!!!NOBODY FROM HP IS HELPING!

I understand that you are facing a battery charging issue.

There is no battery recall for this model.

Please  try the below:

Steps to uninstall the ACPI drivers

Right-Click on start button> click device manager> Batteries>then select the s drivers and right-click on it and uninstall all battery drivers.

Then restart the computer and check again.
