Pavilion X360 m Convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had my fare share of HP products and have never run into major issues. I've always supported HP, but their quality seems to be getting WORSE over the years.  I've owned this HP Pavilion X360 m Convertible for almost two years and have had nothing but issues once the "Warranty Expired". Maybe they set their software up to fail after some time? The camera went out first and geek squad looked at it and could not figure it out. Programs were installed, but they said it could have been a loose connection in the laptop. No support from HP because the warranty was expired. Now comes the part when the laptop fails and does not turn on. Come to find out the mother board burnt. Can HP be liable for a house fire?!?!? Could it have been the faulty battery that it came with? After doing some research, the battery in this laptop was recalled. Can you blame the battery for the cause of a burnt board?  I contacted them about this issue and they wanted what I almost paid for it in repairs. Really? I can just buy a new one. Why tell someone they can get it repaired for what a brand new one costs. They could have said, it's probably easier to buy a new one instead of getting the motherboard fixed as it would probably cost the same and your warranty is expired. I understand you can't buy a new pair of shoes and abuse it then try to return it. That was not this case, just a bad product/hardware from the manufacturer. Maybe a lemon? They would also tell you that this laptop isn't recalled, but many other models of HP with this type of hardware is. Don't they use similar hardware in all of their products? Not happy with HP and no longer will be a HP consumer. I guess you don't get what you pay for.
