Hi, my laptop for school has a problem. Today, I accidentally forced the charger to move while it was plugged after which the laptop stopped charging.

I think the laptop pins are broken, and I will provide a picture.

note: since it is provided by my school, repair is not possible. Is however charging via the USB-C port possible?

We need the full model number to bring up the correct manual and the correct specs. Yes that charging port is borked. It is unlikely the laptop will accept a charge through the USB-C port because HP usually provides a USB-C charger on models that are able to do that. In most cases, repair involves replacement of a secondary board that is not very expensive but in other cases the charging port is soldered to the motherboard, making repair expensive and difficult.

Sorry of this does not work out but we do need the exact model to answer accurately.
