HP Notebook 15-da1083nt
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greetings, a day ago a problem about my kayboard occured. I cant use the buttons "i,esc,g,h,bacspace". However, I hadn't done something different or may harm my keyboard. It's just popped up without any reason I can explain. I tried to delete it from Device Manager and restart my computer but it didn't work. I've been wondering if it's all about hardware. If it is, how much would it cost to repair? Getting an notebook's internal keyboard fixed can't be worth to pay too much. Thanks for your attention.

Hi @Shiedays,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing a sudden keyboard issue with your HP da1083nt laptop. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem.

  • Restart your computer: Sometimes, restarting your computer can fix the issue.
  • Check for driver updates: Go to the HP website and check if there are any driver updates available for your keyboard. Install any updates that are available.
  • Check the keyboard settings: Go to the Control Panel, click on "Hardware and Sound," and then click on "Keyboard." Make sure that the keyboard settings are configured correctly.
  • Use an external keyboard: If your laptop has a USB port, you can connect an external keyboard to your laptop and use it as a temporary solution.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
