Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! After years of owning this notebook, I wish to upgrade its storage to SSD. Anything I should consider or take note of in doing so?

Please advise, thank you!

@sephsis

Is it an HP Notebook - 15s-du0013tx machine ? Its specs

It supports dual storage with M.2 NVMe SSD + 2.5" HDD. It has  1 TB 5400 rpm SATA now, you can add M.2 SSD to your machine using

              Or similar from reputable vendors.
              One example (compatible drive, can use smaller/larger capacity)

Yes that is the correct model. Follow up and probably my last 3 questions before I close this 🙂

How much nvme ssd can I add? I mean is there a limit to the storage capacity? I am leaning towards a 500GB.

Is it possible to perform an F11 recovery, using a USB recovery and direct the OS installation to the nvme ssd instead of the hdd?

And last, how much RAM can I put into my pc? How many slots, and how much capacity per slot can take? I have not opened my PC yet since I am at an assignment, and not sure how many ram sticks my pc have.

Super appreciate the help 🥰🥰🥰
