Hello,
I have HP elite book x360 1040 G10 laptop having Win 10 (64 bit) using with HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2.
Since one month the LAN connection and External display is not working though this docking station, only power and USB works.
The same DOC Station working smoothly with external display and LAN when connected different HP Zbook laptop with WIN11 OS and confirmed nothing wrong with the Doc Station.
When the mentioned laptop connected to different Doc Station - HP Thunderbolt Dock G5.
LAN started working still external display not working.
When tried the HP DOC Station and Display diagnostic tool, it gave below error.
"Doc subitem error - expected.
device: USB\VID_03F0&PID_066B was not found!"
Please assist.

Hi @Hafzal
I only recommend that you reinstall the Thunderbolt driver.

Hi Resistencia, thanks for the response.
Installed https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp150501-151000/sp150835.exe and restarted the laptop.
Issue seems to be the same.
Let me know your thoughts.

Hello,
Update: Issue is resolved by changing the motherboard.
We did upgraded the Win 10 OS to Win11 and retried updating all drivers, still there was no change in behavior.
Thunderbolt Dock 120W can connect only the power and when tried through Thunderbolt Dock G5 power, USB and N/W working but not display.
Then we changed the Motherboard and issue fully solved.
Thanks for the inputs
