Hello,i jz bought a hp envy 13 laptop with i7 processor,8gb ram,nvidia mx150 graphic card..i facing stuttering issue in every games i played(even using the lowest graphic setting)..these are the gamelist that ive tried(pes 2018,nfs most wanted 2012,xmen first class:wolverine)..ive tried many steps to overcome the issue,but all failed,here are all the steps that ive tried:
1. Change power plan to high performance
2. Install latest windows updates
3. Update latest nvidia driver
4. On nvidia graphic properties,ive tried almost everything(let the 3d app decide,use my preference emphasizing performance,manage 3d setting>prefered grphc processor>high performance nvidia(with global setting n with some alterations),set physx processor to geforxe mx150
5. Disable all windows unwanted background activities
6. Install lag removal updates for most of the games
7.try to run with power supply n battery
8.install the latest directx
9.install the latest nvidia geforce experience software

Is there anything else that i can try?or is it due to hardware issue?

Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the case regarding issues with gaming performance. I will be delighted to assist you here.

 

Superb description, brilliant troubleshooting and terrific observations made before posting. Kudos to you for that. 😉

 

I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution; 

When was the last time it worked without these issues (date)? 

Which games are causing these issues and are they online games or installed on your PC? 

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on HP Forums? 

What is the product number of your computer? (Ensure you don't share any personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc..). 

  

In the meantime, you may try the below steps, as even if the game is compatible with your system hardware it may have a slow performance because you are using the windows 8, 8.1 or 10 as the OS uses most of the CPU & graphics card usage, you might want to reduce the visual effects for windows to save the amount of CPU & Graphics card usage required to run your game properly. 

  

Here's how you do it: 

  • Go to Start Menu > click on Settings. 

  • Type performance > choose Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.  

  • In the new window, go to the Visual Effects and select Adjust for best performance. 

  • click Apply and ok...this should do the trick. 
     

If the issue persists, The best way to resolve the issue is to follow the suggestions of the HP Guided Troubleshooter:

 Did you manage to find the solution to this problem? I have the same issue even when running lowest in game video specs
