My computer has recently been having this really loud fan noise, like a really loud whirring. Sometimes it speeds up and sounds like the fan is scraping on metal. This is especially inconvenient when giving digital presentations, as it is really loud. Is there a way to fix this without getting a new fan or is that the next step? I’ve read lots of online questions about this same problem that say that cleaning the fan and doing a lot of different things when the computer is on do not help.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the fan is making a loud noise.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
