Hi,

I have HP Envy 15mbp112dx. Earlier i have upgraded the device with 1 TB M.2  SSD which is working perfectly fine. But i still have 1 TB HDD which came with original product. I would like to know if i can also upgrade the HDD to 2.5 SSD and upto what capacity? I prefer to purchase 4TB but if that don't support, then i will go for 2 TB. Will it work with 4TB or 2 TB 2.5 SSD?

Yes, you can replace existing 2.5" old HDD using 2.5" SSD up to 4TB (on market today) for example

 

            https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/sata-ssd/870-evo-1tb-sata-3-2-5-ssd-mz-77e1t0bw/

 

Normally 2TB is the right upgrade.
