My HP envy-360 laptop, which is past its expiration date, has started to have problem with its left side hinge. When I try to close it, it makes a cracking noise as if the screen is about to break apart from the side.
I have seen and heard about many people having the same problem. I took it to a technician today, who refused to fix it saying it could damage the motherboard if he tried to fix it. I can’t travel any where with the laptop. Help and advice would be much appreciated!
