Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

i received laptop from friend it will not power on, not charging light no nothing.  The charger I'm using is for a dell its 65 watt 19.5 volt with 7.4 mm connector and is a working adapter. It is just dead. The board dosen't look fried. It has all original hardware i don't think its ever been taken apart.  Please tell me what options i have to fix it.  Thank You

Appreciate you trying the steps. This looks like a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
