HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0045au
I have an HP ENVY x360 Laptop 13-ay0045au with serial number [Personal Information Removed] . I have had this laptop for over a year and its hinge broke with a screw popping out and the screen on that side suffered damage too. I am shocked at this instance since the laptop is at my table most of the time with very limited use for my academic work. But going online to seek support from the customer care and HP forum has brought my attention to the fact that there are tons of similar complaints and issues arising due to the innate design flaw in this model. Even the time of one of the hinges coming out is the same in all cases.

I called your customer care and never received the message for the call back from the agent as the automated call said. Going to the HP service center, I was told that repair would cost around Rs. 20 k which is a lot of money to be spent on a year-old laptop. I did not expect this kind of inconvenience from HP. I invested in a really expensive laptop with the expectation not to face these troubles and run into damages of this gravity.

It seems like a conspiracy to sell a product you know is going to break and then seek a hefty repair from the customer. It is a disappointment that a brand like HP is doing nothing with an issue persisting this long in a model.
