HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13m-bd0023dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I had bought a new HP envy laptop around 1.5 years ago and a week ago, the bottom right hinge of my laptop had broken, causing the screen to pop out without any misuse. In addition, 2 months after initially purchasing this laptop, it began having audio issues where sound will randomly be muted and when I closed my laptop, it never automatically went to sleep. I have dealt with a plethora of problems from this brand new laptop but this recent issue is completely unacceptable. Now I cannot use my laptop or move the screen around or it may break the screen even though I have never dropped it, rarely used it in tablet mode and I have taken very good care of it. It is incredibly disappointing that such an expensive piece of technology has such a huge design flaw that won't even allow for use of over 1.5 years. Looking at this forum it looks like this is a very common problem that HP has not solved and instead continues to disappoint users.

I had contacted customer service and they did not provide any help and said it would take $400+ to fix which is ridiculous when this is clearly caused by a design flaw. Has anyone had any success dealing with a similar issue?

After giving HP one try using their technology, I will never buy another HP product again and strongly discourage anyone purchase their poor quality products.
