I’ve just seen my laptop after not touching it the whole night, I’ve never mishandled it and everything else is in pristine condition but suddenly the left hinge is broken and disconnected from the screen, I’ve searched and found that this is currently a lawsuit with hp and that it is a genuine design and manufacturing issue on their side not mine. My warranty finished last year but I still want to get it repaired, can a support agent please guide me to how I can get this done? I’m in the Uk btw.

Hi @tulkinyusuf ,
We apologize for the inconvenience, but it seems that the issue needs a hardware repair.
Unfortunately, there are no further actions we can take through this channel. I recommend reaching out to our phone support for further assistance.
They can help you with the unit repair or part replacement.
I request you talk to HP Phone Support and they will help you to sort it out as it requires advance support or repair.
