HP Envy Laptop 17
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought my first HP computer, an Envy Laptop, in December 2019. Three months later (March 2020) the HDMI port stopped working, so I sent it to the HP repair team. They fixed the HDMI port, but when the computer came back, the fingerprint scanner no longer worked and my McAfee account was not active. I spent hours on chat screens with support members only to find out that I have to send my laptop back into the repair shop if I want my fingerprint scanner to work. I work from home and can't afford to lose my laptop again. And after chatting with a couple different people I found out that the team that can get my McAfee Activation Code isn't available now, so I have to call back. This HP computer has cost a lot of time and frustration so far, and I don't have much confidence in the quality of the machine at this current point in time. I am not sure if I would buy another HP laptop after my experience with the computer and after my subsequent interactions with tech support.
