HP laptop fan making noise warning at startup saying its unhappy, ordered new fan realized I need thermo paste, anything else I should do while open? Also some the little holes under fan have dust tried blowing it out.

As an HP support agent, I'd recommend that you consider taking your laptop to an authorized service center for a few reasons.

Fan & Thermal Paste: Replacing the fan and applying thermal paste is tricky, and if not done right, it could cause more problems. A professional will make sure everything is done correctly.

Dust: While you tried blowing it out, a service center can do a more thorough cleaning.

Warranty: If your laptop is still under warranty, a certified technician can help without risking it.
