Hi peeps 

I am looking for advice I am getting a HP g60 213em I have found out a can upgrade the ram bit can I upgrade the CPU I am looking to use it for online gaming so looking to upgrade to Intel i5 or close too

Hi:

 

You would not be able to upgrade the processor to any Intel core processor model.

 

Here is the link to the service manual.  Chapter 1 has the list of supported processors.

Note:  In order to upgrade to one of the higher processors listed in the manual, your notebook must have the Mobile Intel GM45 or PM45 chipset.

 

If it has the Mobile Intel GL40 chipset, you can only upgrade to the T5900 processor listed in the manual.

 

I have zipped up and attached below, a free utility that will tell you what chipset your PC has.
