Product: HP ENVY Laptop - 17t-cg000 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I have an HP ENVY Laptop - 17t-cg000 CTO I got off NewEgg, my Second hard drive stopped working and it seems to be the hard drive cable itself as I Took out the hard drive implied it into my other computer and it works fine. The problem is I can’t find any replacements for it anywhere when I  look for the part number nbx0002m300 the only thing I could find will be the cable found on Amazon below although I’m not sure if it would fit or not.

  Any help or a point in the right direction would be appreciated.

Hi:

 

The maintenance and service guide on your notebook's support page indicates that the drive cable part number is L87952-001.

 

See chapter 3, page 21.

I looked up the part on the HP parts store website and it is not orderable from HP.

 

HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - Compaq Parts

 

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to do a search by the HP part number for the drive cable and see if you can buy it from another vendor.

 

I see some for sale on eBay, for example.
