Hello ,

 

I have problem with battery on my HP laptop. Laptop is plugged in but battery do not charge. (still 0% and no symbol of charging).

I have launched battery test via HP hardware diagnostics but battery test failed.

Will i need new battery or something else can be wrong with hardware/software?

Almost certainly the problem is the battery, but not 100%. Still, you should replace the battery. The chance of other problems is very low. Have not seen the images yet. Takes a day or 2 to clear.
