Hi . I have HP laptop 15-bs1xx , I am thinking to have 256-SSD. Would this model be supporting such upgrade?

Hi:

 

What type of SSD do you want to install?

 

You can always replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.

 

If your notebook has an Intel Core processor 6th generation or newer, it also has a M.2 slot that supports SATA M.2 SSD's only, not NVMe.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types:
