Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need to upgrade laptop battery from 3-cell to 4-cell, as per my laptop spare part list showing only 3 cell battery i.e JC03 model HSTNN-LB7V

 

Is it possible to upgrade to JC04, will it compatible with my laptop?

Yes the battery is a clip in external so you do not need to open the case. Any of these will work fine. Order by HP Part Number:

 

Battery
4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 919701-850
3-cell, 31-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery
919700-850
919700-851
 
There are lots of these on amazon.com sold by 3rd party battery makers. Your choice whether to get a "compatible" or "genuine" battery.
