Hello, I have this loptop with a broken charging port so I ordered a new one payed like 4 pound, and they send me I replaced but still didint work, I took it apart and disconnected the motherboard and tried to plug in to the power the light show up like for 20 seconds then it disappeared then I tried it again then with battery it charged but disappeared again after 20 seconds then again light up 3 time wanted to try see if it’s really working now but then no light showed up at all , the broken connector what I had is:

HP DC IN CABLE

90W HP P/N:799736-Y57

SUYIN P/N:CBL00672-0100

the one I ordered and what it looked like the right one but I got this one

HP DC IN CABLE
P/N:799736-F57

SINGATRON

is there any differents between these to charging ports maybe this port does not have enough power flow to the motherboard because maybe it’s not the right one ? I spoke to the person who sold me he said he have Y57 and I should get it on Monday then see if it works. But I would like to know how come when everything was connected the light didint show up then when I disconnected everything from the motherboard the light started flashing for 20 seconds ?

thanks
