OMEN ce006ne
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i have hp omen 15 ce006ne i got it only tow days a go and the battery lasts hardly 2 hours with normal usage like browsing or watching videos.

and with games lasts only for 45 minutes.
is this buttery fault and i should return it to the seller?

and for how many hours the battery should last? considering that this is should be a gaming laptop?

second question...
for my old laptop i used when i am using it for long time i remove the battery and work on the charger only to save the battery life . but for OMEN the battery is built in .. so .. using the laptop while connecting it to the charger will that short the battery life? if , yes .. what should i do to save the battery life for my OMEN laptop?

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

I suggest you update the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/omen-by-hp-15-ce000-laptop-pc/15551437/model/210858...

If the issue persists please run a Battery Test and let me know the outcome

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Power > Battery

Keep me posted
