Hello! I have an HP Omen 15t dc100 gaming laptop. There is an LED next to the DC jack pin/charge port. Plugging in a charger, that LED become white , then nothing happens.
Pressing the power button causes that LED to blink, and it'll blink once every time i press the power button. All that being said, the laptop does not power on at all.
This happen when i replaced my old ac adapter which not working anymore. Then this problem came

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8. (do not skip any troubleshooting steps even if you feel steps are repeating)
BIOS default:
- Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
- Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
- Press F10 to Save and Exit.
- Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

after I bought a new original hp charger 150w the laptop is working and charging but I got another problem where the laptop starts to shut down suddenly, I installed a software to monitor the CPU and GPU temp and I figure out that the laptop is getting too hot and shut down only when the ac adapter is plugged in
please tell me if you need any details or info
I appreciate your help

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
1. Go to Start, search for Device Manager, and open this result.
2. Expand batteries.
3. Right-click on the ACPI option (usually the 2nd option) and select delete or uninstall. Follow the prompts.
4. Shut down the computer.
5. Disconnect the charger.
6. Remove the battery.
7. Hold down the power button for 1 minute.
8. Insert the battery only.
9. Attempt to turn the battery on.
