Hello guys,
Recently I had a problem with my HP omen, I had it on sleep mode inside my backpack for a few hours. When I got home and got it out it was very hot and when I tried to start it I got a notification that It had shut down because exceeding the maximum temperature. I would like to know why that overheating happened and if it may cause some permanent damage to my laptop. I would like to mention that my CPU temperature is now from 54 to 74 celsius without doing much on "Balanced" mode. Is this the normal range? I am not sure what the range was before this happened.
