Hi!
I have an HP Omen 15-dh1019nr. One of its cooling fans is not functioning properly. I tried to fix it, but it is working for now, but it creates a lot of noise and distracts me when I am working.
Unfortunately, there are not many similar laptops around, especially in my country. I would like to replace it with a properly working one.
Are other Hp Open laptops' cooling fans compatible with mine? If yes, which exact models will be good?

Hi @AliAliyev100,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you've already attempted to fix the cooling fan and it's still creating excessive noise and distraction, it's likely time to replace it. Here's a guide on how to go about replacing the cooling fan in your HP Omen 15-dh1019nr.
- Prepare the workspace: Turn off your laptop completely and disconnect all power sources. Lay down a soft cloth or anti-static mat to protect the surface and prevent any static discharge that could damage sensitive components.
- Remove the back cover: Most laptops have a removable back cover secured by screws. Use a small Phillips-head screwdriver to remove these screws and gently pry open the back cover. Be careful not to force it, as there may be hidden clips holding it in place.
- Locate the cooling fan: Once the back cover is removed, locate the cooling fan. It's typically positioned near the heatsink and exhaust vents. In some cases, there may be more than one fan.
- Disconnect the fan: The fan will be connected to the motherboard by a cable. Carefully disconnect this cable from the motherboard. Some fans may also be secured with screws or clips, so remove those as well.
- Replace the fan: If you can find an exact replacement for your HP Omen 15, that would be ideal. However, if you can't find the exact model, look for a compatible fan with similar specifications. Make sure it's designed for your laptop model and has the same dimensions and connectors.
- Install the new fan: Once you have the replacement fan, install it by connecting the cable to the motherboard and securing it with screws or clips. Be gentle when handling the fan and avoid touching the blades.
- Reassemble the laptop: Put the back cover back on and secure it with the screws. Make sure everything is properly aligned before tightening the screws.
- Test the laptop: Turn on your laptop and monitor the new fan to ensure it's working properly and not making excessive noise.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Dear @Alden4,
Thank you for your help!
But my question was about a list of laptops whose cooling fans would be compatible with mine.
I mean I have no idea whether they have specific models or does every laptop has its own cooling fans or even different brands may use the same cooling fans. I just need to find out wh
