Hi all,

Is the processor on Hp pavillion AMD A6-5200 APU with Radeon HD Graphics upgradeable to a faster processor like  the AMD A10-5750M 2.50-GHz processor (turbo up to 3.50-GHz; 1600-MHz FSB, 4.0-MB L2 cache, DDR3, quad core, 35 W)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

It is not upgradable ad the CPU in that model is integrated on the motherboard, soldered to the motherboard. So, the only way to upgrade would be to replace the motherboard and then place a new CPU.

On page 74 of the service manual you can see the compatible motherboards and on page 86 the compatible CPUs.
