HP pavilion dm3_is mSata available for ssd use?

Hello,

I had pavilion dm3-1020er (with AMD) that worked fine but too slow.

I upgraded it using main board 580663-001 (with Intel CPU integrated) - that actually changed model name 1020er to some other. (actually the board has several stickers with different p/n on it which looks strange to me. Others are: HPMH-40GAB4300-D720 HP P/N 582500-006)

I wanted to use msata ssd as I found an available slot next to primary HDD.

Neither win7 nor BIOS can see that ssd (kingston SMS200S3\120 mSATA3 mS200 series). 

I checked with service matual (yes, only after that ) and found that that slot is for WWAN module installation.

So my question is

Can that msata be used for other devices? My need is ssd.

device number 123456#UUF

(upgraded) Bios version to F19 

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU     P9300  @ 2.26GHz

main board: 3650 41.3D

No, it does not M.2 slot for SSD.

Do you mean it can only be used for WWAN and not for any other device?

Can it be true? Is there any difference for devices using msata standard?
