Looking to find the correct memory upgrade for my HP pavilion dv6-3236nr Entertainment PC . I did a scan at crucial.com and that gave me the wrong info.

Hi,

Your PC supports max 8GB of DDR3 1066MHz RAM. There are two slots, You can use faster RAM which will run at the slower speed. The RAM offered by Crucial DDR3L should work and they offer a money back guarantee on their upgrades

On page 60 of the service manual, you can see the steps to upgrade the RAM and the part numbers of the modules installed. So, you could perform a search with the part number of needed modules.
