Product: pavilion dv8000
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

In an older post Tallisd upgraded his dv8000 with 2 - 2 GB chips.  I'm trying to find out where he got those chips so I can do the same thing to my dv8000

Thanks for the advied.  right now I'm having some power sujpply problems and won't be able to test the crucial memory address until my power supply problems are fixed.

OK, I dug up the discussion you must be referring to...

4 GB is only going to work if your notebook has the same Intel 945 chipset, and the latest BIOS revision installed.

 

If yes to both, then this memory should work for you...
