Hey there, first time posting. I was hoping some of you folks could help me out here. Ive never really "upgraded" a laptop (mostly desktops) and i was wondering if anyone knew the max RAM my 16 could have. Is it better to go dual chip or single? is it hard to install new components? Currently running with this: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10300H CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz and 8.00 GB installed RAM. any help would be MUCH MUCH appreciated! Thx!

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06723973
It has 8 GB DDR4-2933 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) now. You can upgrade to
- 16GB: add same existing RAM to slot 2 or using https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfra32a/ct19224023 (RAM will run at 2933MHz)
- 32GB: install 16GB each to both slots using https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k16g4sfra32a/ct19224058 (Ram will run at 2933MHz)
- 64GB: install 32GB each to both slots using : https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k32g4sfd832a/ct19224049 (Ram will run at 2933MHz)
It is better to use TWO slots same RAM to get full benefit of DUAL channel architecture.
Regards.
