@autobyte, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP pavilion sleekbook!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
The error you're encountering where "OpenGL 2.0 is required" indicates that your current Intel HD Graphics 3000 driver does not support OpenGL 2.0, which is required for your Python program.
Steps to Resolve the Issue
Update Graphics Driver:
Ensure you have the latest graphics driver installed for your Intel HD Graphics 3000. You can find and install the driver from the Intel website:
- Go to the Intel Download Center
- Search for "Intel HD Graphics 3000" and download the latest driver compatible with your system.
Check for Windows Updates:
Sometimes, Windows Update can provide updated drivers that support newer versions of OpenGL. Follow these steps to ensure your system is up-to-date:
- Open Settings from the Start Menu.
- Click on Update & Security.
- Click Check for updates and allow your system to install any available updates.
Adjust Visual Effects:
To improve performance and possibly resolve graphics issues, you can adjust your visual effects:
