This laptop had 1x8 gb 2133mhz DDR4 RAM and 1tb HDD by default. Can the RAM be upgraded? If yes, then by how much? Does this device has a seperate slot for installing SSD with the current HDD? Or I can only replace the current HDD with an SSD (i can only use one)?

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.
Your notebook supports 2 x 8 GB of memory.
SSD...You can only replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.
Different motherboards are used in the models that come with 2.5' drives than the ones that come with SATA M.2 SSD's.
You can see that info in chapter 3.

Hey, thank you so much. Turns out I had to remove the connector and attack it to ssd. I installed it successfully. Now i hav a different problem. The left side of the fan, there are 2 small wires, I don't know what they are, I am attaching the picture of it. I dont know how to reconnect them. The 2nd one somehow seems to be connected but the 1st is not being connected. Please help.

You're very welcome.
If you are referring to the two wires I circled in red, those are the wifi card antenna wires.
You have to center the connector right over the wifi card terminal, and just push down on it, and it should snap over the terminal.
It may take you a few tries. It is not very easy to do.

Somehow I managed to connect them. I hope i never have to do that again 😂. Thank you so much for all your help. Btw, it seems like my laptop did had an NVMe slot. It was either 2.5" drive or NVMe. Laptop had drivers for pci express card as well. Can I install 500gb nvme ssd instead?

Anytime. Glad to have been of assistance.
I am looking at your original motherboard screen shot, and see no presence of a M.2 slot, and even if there was one, the manual indicates that only SATA M.2 SSD's are supported, not NVMe.
See chapter 1, page 3 of the service manual.
