I need your help to find right ssd format.
Pavilion x360 m3-u001dx, this is a laptop i have. But there is problem with something upgrade.
I want to upgrade hdd to ssd, which one should i buy for it?
sata 3(2.5inch)? or M.2 ssd? please tell me which one is appropritae.
i have never opened my laptop.

Hi,
Your PC at the moment has a 2.5" mechanical hard drive. So what you need is a 2.5" SATA3 SSD such as the Samsung 860evo. You can use desired capacity SSD.
On pages 42-44 you can see the steps to replace the drive:

You will need to reinstall the OS on the SSD, either by using HP recovery disks, migrating an image or by downloading media creation tool from Microsoft (before replacing drive or on different computer) running and creating a bootable pendrive with the OS on it. Then use this drive to perform a clean install of the OS.
