Hello, as you can read from the title. My HP gaming laptop is having overheating problems. I'm not happy with the performance at all. My current specs are: Intel i7 9750h and gtx1660ti. Whenever Im playing games or rendering something, my gpu and cpu spikes to 92-97 degrees celsius! When Im playing competitive games mainly overwatch 2 (as it's a good benchmark game) my gpu would be sitting at 91 degrees celsius. I have tried every "fix' that HP support team have shared before but non of it did anything. I've read a fairly popular thread with 11k views yet non of the fix provided did anything. i do not care if this laptop can handle more than 97 degrees celsius but it's greatly affecting the performance. For example, overwatch 2 will barely run at 100+ fps when it gets that hot! That's unheard of for gtx1660ti max q or not. When it's not sitting at 91 degrees it actually ran the game really well. 144 fps constantly. It's such a waste. I think the only fix to this issue is by undervolting both the gpu and cpu, but I heard HP pavillion gaming DOES NOT SUPPORT UNDERVOLTING.
Is there any fix to this? Beside the whole update your driver etc.. Im tired of trying those . Im also wondering if HP will finally update the bios for this model so people can finally undervolt.. We cant even control the fan speed... HP shouldve made this clear when selling this flop
