Hi,

I'd like to install an SD card to use for file history backup.  However the SD cards protrude and may easily come out and be lost.  I've read about a "low profile" micro SD card adapter which, when inserted, wouldn't stick out.  

I've seen several of these on Amazon etc. but I'm not sure which one would fit my notebook

Any help appreciated.

Machine is too old, the mechanism inside may be worn out. You have to find a good place to replace it OR you can use an external USB reader. There are many of them around. I bought 10 of them at BB for $30 another day ($3/each)
