I have a Hp 15-ef2013dx and I found that a SATA HDD or SSD can fit inside it near the battery at bottom, but the problem is there is no SATA port built into the motherboard, so I searched up for it and saw that Hp uses a proprietary SATA cable for laptops with a proprietary connector in the board which i can locate, but I can't find any matching part number anywhere in the user manual. Are all the hp (SATA) cables same and compatible with all HP laptops?

Are you sure your machine supports DUAL storage ? No provision connection for a 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD at all therefore no available part.
Regards.
